Here’s why you are so close to being insanely wealthy

how to become wealthy

You don’t know it yet but you are very close to being insanely wealthy.

Let me explain…

For most people being wealthy is about material possessions, the money, the “stuff”. For others it’s about spiritual attainment, fulfillment, personal development, family, and relationships.

For MJ Demarco, self-made multimillionaire and author of The Millionaire Fastlane, it’s all about the following 3 Fs.

Family (Relationships)

DeMarco considers that wealth is “strong-spirited familial relationships with people”. To be really wealthy you must be surrounded by people who love you, who care about you and with whom you can share everything.

Fitness

By fitness DeMarco means “health, vibrancy, passion and boundless energy”. You can only feel wealthy if you are healthy. Like he says:

“Ask any terminally ill person what they value. Ask any cancer survivor how they suddenly feel reborn and happiness is displaced from “stuff” to people and “experience”

Freedom

Think about how wealthy you would feel if you could live according to your own rules, no boss, no alarm clocks, no pressures of money. You could finally pursue your dreams, travel anywhere you want…

When all is said and done, if we consider that you have Family (relationships) and Fitness (health and energy) it means you have 2 of the 3 ingredients to be completely wealthy. So you are quite close to being insanely wealthy don’t you think? Let me know in the comments below (I read and answer all comments).

I absolutely agree Simon. Seeing wealth from a money-centric perspective is pretty narrow, shallow, and short sighted. Rich and healthy (love filled) relationships is number one. That is to say, the kind of people in our lives matters a lot. One’s family need not necessarily be defined from the biological standpoint. Any close associates that believe in you and your potentials and seek ways to add to you and make “the dream” or “the vision” come true may be considered family. For instance, some entrepreneurs/start-up founders have forged over time, very close and budding relationships with their co-founders or teams. That’s family too. I agree about Fitness and Freedom but something pulls me today particularly to Family. Thanks and God bless you.

I know some people that would give all their money for just one more minute with family. Wealth is a relative term and does not define a person like family, fitness and freedom can.

I really like this, especially coming from MJ DeMarco – it’s not what I expected! However I feel like hitting that 3rd one, freedom, is still veeery far away, both from a ‘financial independence’ perspective, or creating a lifestyle with an independent or on-line business. But great to put this in perspective with the other two ‘F’s!

I love this! Sometimes people set aside the first two in pursuit of the third, but you need all three to be truly wealthy.

    I do not know.
Literally I am very rich when I take a look at all my experiences I made so far in my life.
Today this feels kind of weird.
As I will file for bankruptcy.
It is a very demanding task to feel wealthy when you are in my situation. ;-(

4 Money to fulfill basic needs which may differ person to person.
