Here are my top 8 books to invest in:

1) What I didn’t learn at school but wish I had

This book was written by Jamie McIntyre who explains how he went from being totally broke while sleeping on a friend’s sofa to become a multi-millionaire by his 20’s. In his book he shares his story as well as the tricks and strategies he used to get there. Jamie got me so inspired with his book that right after reading it I created the Becomer which articles are now read by thousands and thousands of awesome people every month.

Losing virginity is a book written by Sir Richard Branson. In this bestselling autobiography, Branson will give you his very best lessons about business. Truly inspiring!

4) The Millionaire Fastlane: Crack the code to wealth and live rich for a Lifetime

In his book, MJ DeMarco explains why so many people are wrong when it comes to becoming wealthy. He differentiates action fakers from action takers. According to him some people pretend to take action to become richer, better looking, more successful…but actually never get real results because they just fool themselves. 6) The 7 habits of Highly Effective People

No need for a description here, the comments speak for this book:

Every so often a book comes along that not only alters the lives of readers but leaves an imprint on the culture itself. The 7 Habits is one of those books.” –Daniel Pink, author of Drive and To Sell Is Human

The 7 Habits encompass timeless principles that can help guide any company toward success.” –Tony Hsieh, New York Times bestselling author of Delivering Happiness and CEO of, Inc.

There are very few business books that are essential reading for anyone who wants to make a difference. This is one of the great ones.” –Seth Godin, author of The Icarus Deception

Twenty-five years after it first appeared, the wisdom of The 7 Habits is more relevant than ever. On an individual level people are burning out, and on a collective level we are burning up the planet. Some people even say that Think and Grow Rich has created more millionaires and billionaires in the history than any other books.
In this book Napoleon Hills reveal a Master Key that will give you the power to accomplish everything you want in your life but only if you are ready to take it. Every people who understood the principle of Think and Grow Rich and who were ready to take the Master Key systematically got rich. There is no magic here that’s just a fact. Simon, This is a Great List! I own a few of these. The only book I would have added to this List is Wallace D Wattles’ “The Science of Getting Rich”.
Regarding the last book ” Think and Grow Rich”. I agree. It is a definite “rain-maker”.

Though I did not read that particular book by Richard Branson, I think You will like my article on him and the hook/twist/special treatment of his life story. See for your self. Click Here:::

    Hi Simon,

    A great list – I’ve read 5 of 8 of them.

Agree that ‘Thing & Grow Rich’ is the most influencial ‘get rich’ nook of all time. For me it’s the grandfather of all motivational books.

The other one I would add is 4-Hour Workweek by Tim Ferriss. I’ve just reviewed this on my site (only 7 years late). This book had a big impact on my thinking towards working, time management, and working for myself. Highly recommend this also!

  • David Hardigree December 5, 2017, 3:27 am

I have read about 3 of these books, readers are leaders. A lot of good teaching that is not taught in college. Professors read someone else’s stuff and test you on it. Very seldom do you meet a professor with practical application.
